Orientation

As a transfer student, you have the opportunity to register for either an on-campus orientation session, or an online on-demand orientation session. We encourage you to think about which option fits your educational needs and learning style before making a decision.

Transfer students are high school graduates with at least 24 transferable college credit hours earned; and after high school graduation, have enrolled in college during a fall or spring semester.
If you are transferring from another school but have fewer than 24 transferable hours, you will need to enroll in one of our freshman orientation sessions.

Online Orientation

Designed specifically for transfer students with at least 24 credit hours or non-traditional students, the online orientation includes a message from our Chancellor, Joseph E. Steinmetz, as well as video presentations by several on-campus offices, all essential to your success here as a student. The program will provide you with important new student information and services and offer you the best start possible at the University of Arkansas. The Online Orientation takes between 30-45 minutes to complete.
